Since I've been feeling a bit low these days, there's nothing better than being rocked by the melancholy of Prayers for Rain to feel even more down :).
I had forgotten just how beautiful this album is; I hadn't listened to it in a while.
Gallup's bass in Fascination Street is as captivating as few, and perhaps, along with Lucretia by the Sisters of Mercy, it has the most beautiful bass line in the entire darkwave movement.

By the way, she seems like a real knockout, which doesn't hurt :)

Look Seifer, if the kid in question is really 12 years old, either way, he gave you a response that optimally countered the truly questionable points you made in your post, which are, in my opinion, the result of a simplistic view you have of music in general. When I was a kid, I also loved Ozzy, but I never professed my adoration for the devil, as I liked his songs and not the whole nonsense he surrounded himself with. What does this mean? It means you can listen to metal without being a satanist or right-wing (another nonsense), just as, for example, you can listen to punk and rap without being left-wing. Let's please stop with the childish schematizations and generalizations when it comes to music.

Finally, someone who introduces us to something Scandinavian that's different from the usual black metal bands that have become a bit tiresome. Well done, Fjell; your gothic and, in this case, folk proposals are always appreciated. A bit less so the black ones, but that's just a matter of taste.

And it wouldn't make sense for me to take the blame for it.
But then Ashanti, you're writing a book about Nirvana and you don't know who Staley is?
It's like writing a book about Inter and not knowing who Del Piero is...

Come on punny, understand this, I found out that this Black Metal is only about 12 years old (I swear, I'm not joking, let him tell you himself), so it could be your son (maybe even mine considering I'm almost 30).
Damn Black Metal, but if you listen to Cradle or Dimmu at 12, what will you be listening to in ten years?
I bet that by 20 you'll either be part of a group like "children of Satan," or working in a rehab center for drug addicts run by Don Mazzi, dedicating your entire life to others and delighting in the notes of Rimsky Korsakov or Mussorgsky (I hope I spelled them right) ;)

Excuse me Doctor, what do you deduce from my words? Did I happen to say that I can't stand Nirvana because they are commercial? I solely stated that I find it difficult to understand why Nirvana achieved all this success, while a band that, in my opinion, deserves much more has remained quite anonymous compared to them. The fact is, Doctor, that you read superficially what I wrote to recite the usual refrain that Nirvana haters dislike them because they are commercial and that the blame lies with the record labels that exploited Cobain's death. All trivialities from which I personally keep a safe distance and that do not belong to me. I hope my thoughts are clearer to you now.

Doctor, if you read carefully (assuming you are referring to me), I clearly stated that I talk about MUSIC and EMOTIONS (and not commercial products). Here, maybe written in capital letters it will be more noticeable. The fact that Nirvana are commercial doesn't concern me at all. I simply wrote that, in my opinion, Nirvana are not worth as much as AIC and, above all, Kurt is not worth a dime compared to Layne (rest in peace to both). Regards.

I didn't go to either, and I was disappointed about not going to Alberobello to see the television. As for the Tuxedo, I really don't know much about them, to tell the truth, but if I could have (money is always tight), I would have gone anyway. I listened to Half Minute; they are indeed a bit challenging but also intriguing. You know, ege, I'm quite new to the genre. I've only been diving into new and darkwave for a couple of years (even though the Sisters of Mercy have always been one of my all-time favorite bands), and I find it extremely interesting. Not surprisingly, it's the genre I've listened to the most over the past two years and that I still predominantly listen to.
