Calexico Carried To Dust
Voto:
splendid review for one of the most beautiful albums of the year. and the concert last night was magnificent! more than three hours of music, first solo and then supporting Vinicio Capossela. Burns is a god on the stage, he has fun and makes you feel good. a legend. I adore them.

I wouldn't listen to him even under torture, but I always enjoy your reviews.

Tonight full volume, while I cook for my woman. Totti is right: "Leaf is Nau."
Porn (The Men of) Experiments in Feedback

great review and excellent proposal. however, this album has never excited me, and even though the subsequent "Wine Women & Song" held up enough for me to remember some nice sludge passages as it should, they seem out of phase and out of sync with all the stoner/metal ideas that could be invented at that time (the album in question is from 2003 if I remember correctly). the Gas Giant - who have no Melvins in their lineup - already had their fill back in 2000 ("Pleasant Journey in Heavy Tunes" is one of the heaviest stoner albums ever) but if that’s not enough and you're looking for the 'feedback', well... ring the bell to Boris and then run.

I quote comment n.7 and I'm going to look for the record.

I confess that I haven’t read anything of yours lately because I wasn't enticed by the albums you proposed. Not even this one, to be honest. But this time I did read the review, and you see, I really like the adjectives you used. If you had put them all in bold, you would have entered right into the 'gotha' of contemporary artists. And instead.
