The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion Now I Got Worry

Between comments and reviews, I've read a downright astronomical amount of nonsense! But the Boccalino award goes to the one who wrote <<<A definitely overrated group, although they did manage to produce something good>>> true, and while they were giving birth to their creativity, you were playing with poop and smearing it all over yourself.

..I'm just downloading it from mister Festucoglauco. Nice page, I'm interested also because I've never heard of him, for me there's only ever been and there will always be just one Kramer: WAYNE.

<<<!!!!!, turned off, plastic, devourers of airy Scazzo, necrophiles of rock poster icons, falsely toxic, and finally, the predictable and stereotypical consequence of the Italian music business trying to get some thirteen or sixteen-year-old misfit to wet her pants because those bastards mom and dad won’t give her €500 to buy a phone or I-Pod to pour these four failed "Nirvana/Motorpsycho/Placebo/Marlen eK" tracks into via mp3. BEWARE OF APPEARANCES, this stuff is just empty void burned onto cd-rom.>>>
porcaputtana is the perfect synthesis. to be marketed. to be copied, pasted, handed out, and spread. anonymous Predicatroce, you deserve to log in and legitimize your sacred word, amen.

From here we can move on to "King for a Day." An album that's a bit more subdued compared to their previous works, as it’s too experimental in its way of being and being listened to, but capable of producing two masterpieces of their career like "Evidence" and "Diggin' the Grave" above all.
But what are you trying to pull on me??? Best of to avoid like the plague.

@ bartle: it depends on what dealer you have. If he's a 70s zamatàuro, he'll pull it out of his raincoat at the mere mention of "May..."

riff bombardier! ah, the May Blitz! two amazing albums, a fantastic band. I agree with everything the guy above says, who knows it all. If they had had a producer with guts, they would have outdone Deep Purple and the like (there's still the question: what were they like live? does anyone know if there are any vintage videos around? youtube?). ps. I have the cover with the pink name and the Vertigo logo! whoa...

You got me. But your last comment turned out better than the entire review :D Anyway, I'll print it all out and proceed with a synchronized reading/listening. (yeaaaaah) dear listener, you're falling for it!

Yes yes Fest, totally agree on the shoegaze! From my point of view, this album is a reinterpretation of My Bloody Valentine (there are tracks that almost verge on plagiarism, come on) that winks at indierock. I don't think they were even thinking about Kraut, you know. Overall, it’s very unsuccessful. Quick question: will you still be listening to them in January? (Yay, listening friends!) P.S. the second track is the only one that survives in my mp3 player, that’s it. Bye again.
