Bartleboom, relax: surrender to the overwhelming sense of humor that pervades and underlies Debaser. Anyway, I would have written more or less the same things talking about the first EP ("alternative"!) but I didn't want to be a bore with a duplicate. A psycho. Yeah. But it’s also true that I much prefer 2 reviews on the lesser-known Tame Impala rather than 19 reviews on Metallica's "Death Magnetic." It's a matter of feeling. Thanks, Nes.

Oh, come on! In the end, I sent in a "review"; I had written 4 lines after such a long time that I almost felt bad not to share them with Debaser. Tù is megl che uàn, it fits for this album. I'm looking for the vinyl too and I've ordered the CD in the absence of anything else – which I think came out only on November 18!? How the hell did you get your hands on it so much earlier? You old bastard! :-)

it wasn't easy. but I found it again this time: Album of the Year 2010 and Best "Burned Review by a Colleague" for the past 5 years...
The Stranglers Black And White

this review is a true gem and deserves to be "rediscovered" just like the Stranglers, too often overlooked in favor of less talented contemporaries of the 'punk' scene: Black and White is by far my favorite album of theirs and earns all 5 of my stars.

it’s clear that the bold text was put there by the Ghostbusters. And I would toast to Stacia’s tits.

@psycho: they are completely insane...! but even just the cover is fantastic and similar to this one by Black Mountain. visions of ferocious beasts in bourgeois/metropolitan contexts, is it a coincidence?

Great, really GREAT tracks. Well written, played like a god, and arranged without the lengthy and verbose "prog" tendencies of the previous ones. A kick in the ass and a caress, practically the setlist of the tracks from "Wilderness Heart." And come on, with the second from Grinderman, maybe this 2010 isn’t such a wash after all.
