Danilo Perez ...Till Then

Here I am again, Symbad.....tonight I enjoyed the Wayne Shorter Quartet with the good Perez on piano once again, that big friendly guy Patitucci on double bass, and an astronomically energetic Brian Blade on drums (I didn’t know him to be honest, but he’s amazing).........moral of the story: beautiful concert, various autographs, etcetera: if you get a chance, go enjoy them, folks;)...........ah Symbad, do you know if there are any really good albums with Patitucci? Whether it's with quartets or various trios or anything else, it doesn't matter: I trust you, good man, tell me.......

like a virgin goes into those blends with jazz like weather report, so it’s no longer just prog: however, Antonio isn't entirely wrong, Robert, so let’s go with Ciccone then......

if you want something a bit more quirky and particular (and not exactly "progressive"), try Tales of Mystery and Imagination by Edgar Allan Poe by The Alan Parsons Project; Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield; The Sky Moves Sideways by Porcupine Tree; Fetus by Battiato; the self-titled album by the good old Charlie; The Grand Wazoo by Zappa; Millions Now Living... by Tortoise; Rock Bottom by Robert Wyatt; etcetera :)

Ah, bread for my teeth :)......well, if we start from the basics, go straight with these: something by Genesis from Nursery Cryme to The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway; the wonderful In the Land of Grey and Pink by Caravan; Volume Two and Third by Soft Machine; Close to the Edge by Yes; Red by King Crimson (but you probably already have that); Atom Heart Mother and Meddle by Floyd; Pawn Hearts by Van der Graaf; Io sono nato libero by Banco; something by Camel and Jethro Tull........etcetera.

great :)......for example, what you say about black celebration I can say for spiderland by slint or clic by battiato (and many others), without going into details now. And the beauty of music is precisely this: sounds and images. So if I happen to listen to a song by britney spears and co., I only see a flat electrocardiogram...... tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiii.........
