Another beautiful album, perhaps the most ambitious of the duo Fagen-Becker along with the wonderful Aja.......... However, slightly inferior to others in my opinion, I give it a 4 and a half......... Also nice is this Mullah, and let's hope this new deluxe edition comes out soon ;)

First of all, heartfelt congratulations on your latest comment…… Moreover, regarding Mingus, I have both of those records; I was just asking for a personal opinion…… but maybe for you, in the case of two parties in conflict, the third one benefits? Meaning Mingus Ah Um? I’m always and anyway for "de blec seint...." eh?! ;) P.S.: I never know if when you finish the comment with V. you mean vaffancù.

For example, I find "I have the room above her" by Frisell very nice: it's quite special, and it's also reviewed here on Debaser: I know Symbad will scold me because there's no bass on that record... oh well :)

Perhaps the least talented ever, but taste is taste, no problem.........the review is fine, as for the live performance, I wouldn't know, I always remember when their famous live album was heavily edited in the studio, so..........One thing I've never understood is when years ago, at the release of their psycho circus, I took a friend who was into rock but not very knowledgeable to a music store: my recommendation went to the classic machine head by deep purple, but the shopkeeper managed to sell him that damn psycho circus, passing it off as their grand return: I still wonder, return from what?....my friend noticed it too, but by then it was too late ;)

The term for the review is de-perfection: precision, insights, never any drop in tone......Great Symbad. Regarding Mr. Metheny, you know, nothing gets tossed, so I will be getting this one........I’ll open a small parenthesis that’s unrelated, but I have to since you’re among the most esteemed experts on gez on the site. I wanted to ask you this for a while: which is better than Mingus: The Black Saint...or Pithecanthropus Erectus? ;)
