Anyway, I'm eagerly waiting for February 12 and the Blackfield's release... you never know, we might get the masterpisss... Ah, happy Saturday night, folks, and can you already feel the music pumping on the dance floor! ... Antò, still rocking those flared pants and playful sideburns, huh? Like Anthony Manero? ;)

I’m sorry, both for Maria Elena and especially for the doctor above, but no-man have never really grabbed me: a great mix of artists and ideas, but I don’t know, I’m more for the porcupine tree first and foremost. Second, I give it a three.… Anyway, I'll quote: "I would say it’s nice to close oneself in a small dark room, listening to each track while letting go, waiting for the environment to become so saturated with sounds and images that penetrate the mind and heart until you can’t take it anymore, due to that constant pain that is called 'feeling'....... This me gusta ;)

cute the final parabola ;) ... I too listened to Queen at that age, and later I climbed the mountain as well, but sometimes a quick visit down below is always nice... Little curiosity: but can you also not see the column of reviews on the home page of the site except for the one at the top? I don't know... editors, what's going on?

Certainly, when you generally have harmony among the group members, creativity, and great technique (without it being used for its own sake), then masterpieces come out... look at italian rum casusu di elio...

Well, God, you're right and I'm right too, in fact, let's say that the "progressive" among the genres will remain in this review as a reminder of the "highbrow" musical discussions we had on a January afternoon...... alright ;) Regarding Wyatt and Third, let's just say I bow my head in reverence ;)

holy words SuperChery, maybe even talking heads and pere ubu.......but good old Marley can be slipped in every now and then (every now and then....), don't you think? About the radio, you have to sneak them into the playlist, that's how some DJs did it for be-bop or rock and roll.....;)

The first of the Faust, for example, doesn’t flaunt monster-musicians with absurd technique, but it is perhaps the greatest progressive album of all time.........and there are too many others I should mention....small note god, who do you prefer as a guitarist, Steve Vai or Fripp?

Yes, I repeat, associating with Fahey is a bit daring... but it makes sense, and listen to why: first of all, I absolutely disagree that where technique is preferred, we are talking about prog: then Genesis wouldn't be prog, because they are the glaring example of how the skills of individual members are entirely at the service of musical cohesion. Quite the opposite of Yes, who are indeed prog in the way you mean: flaunting (though not always for its own sake, but sometimes yes) the individual components of the group. A clear example of this is the last part of "Fragile," one song per member, so to speak, not to mention the fantastic yet pompous solos of Wakeman. Even Fripp himself has always preferred inventiveness over pure technical display. This is progressive: the search for new structures and geometries, even with just a few particular sounds, which form a new and unclassifiable whole... So it’s true that Fahey doesn't flaunt particular techniques, yet he constructs entirely new patterns that I don't find in other works of the same genre: so this is a folk where there is a progressive quest for novelty... ;)

For example, one could even consider "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by the Beatles, in contrast to "Revolver" and "Rubber Soul." This may be an exaggeration, but it can clearly illustrate what "progressive" can mean.
