I haven't heard the album, but nice review. Yes, there must be a new album from Ani out, delicate glasses, at least it seems so to me. Anyway, I only have the masterpiece little plastic castle, very beautiful!!

But rereading it, I think it conveys the idea I have of the album. I have great respect for The New Pornographers, whom I will continue to follow; if only there were more bands like them. However, in my opinion, it's an album with a devastating first impact that then loses a bit of its punch. That's all; maybe I expressed myself poorly. It’s probably three and a half stars, but the half isn't counted!

I agree with you zzzzzz, the album initially left me bewildered. Sounds different from what we were used to, and some albums remain unattainable. But this "Dear Catastrophe" also has its cards to play, joy and brightness that are rare to find these days. As a fan of Belle, I am overall satisfied; let’s not be scared by changes all the time! They also had courage!

I grew up on bread and Queen (of which I own the entire discography), I despise the veterans from 1991, hateful greedy compilers of Christmas compilations. I appreciate Deacon's discreet withdrawal. The first five Queen albums are masterpieces of beauty, the others masterpieces of cleverness. I owe them my love for music. If you want the real Freddie, you can find him in Mr. Bad Guy from '85. Great Freddie!!!!!!
