"Live on Mars" is fantastic, I liked this last one a bit less. Too bad, I expected more from him, but if it was a high chart position he was after, he succeeded. Smart or good in this case?

I only heard the first one, and I was curious to hear the second, but now I'm a little less so. Good rec. Oh Kosmo, remind me to stick around when you don't like an album!!!!

I don't mind at all, in fact, a good review never hurts. Who knows how many books you’ve read about "Che"! And anyway, I didn’t mean to say anything bad about Guevara, just that he has been brutally exploited, and that seems undeniable to me, and if you care about this figure, you should be sorry about it.

Hi guys, I don’t know the history (or is it already a myth?!?! ) of Che very well and I don't feel like getting into it. I only know that the song, in the music and interpretation of Guccini and in the poignant words of Montalban, is very beautiful. For the rest, I don't love excess either, because it is indeed a matter of excess and the instrumentation that has been implemented around Ernesto Guevara.

I also love "Bovary" from the second period, but the rest isn't bad either, even though the first period is like another planet!!!!!!

What a fool, I was forgetting "via paolo Fabbri" and "opera buffa," but even Metropolis isn’t bad, yet the titles I mentioned above ("radici" and "stanze di vita...") remain my favorites. "Incontro," contained in Radici, is a masterpiece: "the sadness then enveloped us like honey, for the time that slipped away from us two..."

It depends, Kosmo. Guccio's discography can be divided into two moments: a deeply melancholic and intimate one during the 60s and 70s. In this phase, our artist addresses themes with a common denominator: the inexorable passage of time. Francesco doesn't hide it and in "Il Tema" he even declares that he will continue to talk about it in the years to come. Meanwhile, the latest production (from "Bovary" '86 onwards) is characterized by more sunny music, still engaged themes but less pessimistic, along with exalting gems like "Cyrano" (D'amore di morte....), "Don Chisciotte," and "Sagioni" (Stagioni)... For the first period, I recommend "Radici" (with La locomotiva), "Stanze di vita quotidiana," and "L'isola non trovata"; for the second period, "D'amore di morte di altre sciocchezze," "Stagioni," or even this "Ritratti"!!! Happy listening, sorry for the space taken up!!!

Thank you Hal, Guccini couldn't be missed!!! Well, among the musicians, the usual Ares Tavolazzi couldn't be absent either, along with the sax and harmonica by Manuzzi. The lyrics are all by Guccini except for "Canzone per il Che," written by Montalban, and "Cristoforo Colombo," which features the collaboration of Giuseppe Dati. That's it! Ciau

I've never listened to Metal, and I will never listen to it (maybe... never say never), I haven't listened to this album (will I ever?), but I still want a membership card and entry into the metalheads' registry! Even if I have a metal coefficient of 0/100!!! You are superior!!!
