Here you hit the nail on the head: "the comparisons drawn from memories are often very personal," in fact I have listened to this record a lot, but to write these notes I certainly didn't re-listen to the bands I mentioned (I love the Fieri Furnaces), so I relied on the memory of a perception more than anything else. It's a risk, but this type of writing also stems from these aspects.
