I also think the comparison is out of place. And "despite everything," this one is their best. They burned out quickly. Let’s try not to let the excessive MTV heavy rotation get to us (I often fall for it too), it’s objectively a good album.
The Darkness Permission To Land

Absolutely not, you're exaggerating. Okay, originality 0, overrating 1000, but 0/5 is over the top. They certainly don't position themselves as the paladins and saviors of rock like many other pseudo-alternatives. With humility (masked by a false confidence), they have fun and make others have fun. Especially for those who were born into these genres, it's true that some comparisons don’t hold, but for those who grew up with Queen, Zeppelin, and AC/DC, they bring smiles and joy. I find them very entertaining.

First of all, welcome. Then, the review is very nice and the album is beautiful. I adore the Manic Street Preachers for one thing alone: "I Laughed when Lennon got shot."

I don’t really get the point of the review, you don’t love it, it hasn’t even come out and it’s not your genre. Why mango?
