Look, they have humility. If you pay attention, they only lash out at the puppets of showbiz because they know those icons are just like them; they have that objectivity. They are aware of being ephemeral and fleeting. More than once, I've heard them bow down before true legends and artists with a capital A. They are part of a circus, as you rightly said; they know they are just clowns, but wow, do they entertain me. On the other hand, this awareness of belonging to a carnival is lacking in many "saviors of rock." Just know that these guys have nothing pretentious about them.

I don't completely agree with your vote, Charles; I wouldn't throw anything away from Bleur. I think they deserve at least a 3 as well. Anyway, yes, Parklife is something else, and between Bleur and Oasis, I prefer the former, and history has proved me right. Good review.
