Well, I have a feeling that neither of them will manage to change the other's mind; ). In my opinion, they don't claim to have their music taken seriously. As for the rest, I think all the music that makes it to the charts (with all the names you mentioned) and that has big record labels behind it shouldn't be taken too seriously. There's always a sea of money behind it. This is the message I read in drkness. It's okay, but nothing serious—I listen to them because they make me smile, I know they aren't worth much, and they know it too. They understand that many others (whom I also listen to and appreciate) are worth as much as they are. They're clear-headed; is that a fault?
