I believe that "nanneddu meu" has a popular version that existed well before the version by Tazenda, and it is often used in ballo campidanese or ballu tundu (which are quite similar in the end). The Tazenda have thus copied something that was already copied. Moreover, I have never liked Parodi's way of singing in Sardinian, as he often uses the Campidanese cadence, whereas the "original" cadence would be that of Logudorese. Other than that, it’s a nice review, and it's an album I feel emotionally attached to, but I can't say I judge it as excellent. Sardinian music is indeed quite poor. However, we have Paolino Fresu! And anyway, some songs by Cordas e Cannas, the evergreens Bertas, Piero Marras, and something by Kenze Neke are worth listening to. But what are you talking about! They listen to it because it's pushed onto them. If MTV were to play "the heads," they would listen to "the heads." But it doesn't benefit anyone to do that, especially not MTV. Therefore, I reiterate my 1! Not so much for the musical value (which is negligible anyway) but for the dirty game that lies behind it.
