@Lesto, Puni, Stronko or whatever: Over the top and out of place reaction to Nick's words. For a joke! One can't expect to judge from the sidelines without facing some criticism. Those who want to be the teacher's pet always lose out ;)!

Horrible review. Two for the effort! An album that made me feel so much at first and then I put it back on the shelf without ever listening to it again. Double 2.

Lene Marlin Playing My Game
Voto:
First of all, Lene Marlin is from Tromsø :)! Second: with all the beautiful music in Norway, you go and listen to her? :)! Look around a bit: Big Bang, Motorpsycho, Madrugada, Gate, Silje Nergaard, Jaga Jazzist. But not Lene! Even though she's very cute. I must say the review is a bit ugly. But I believe you know that too.

@Odra: It's the first time I've seen you "angry" :). My question (trained or alienated) was more for the author than for you. Unfortunately, it seems that these Monk are yet another gap in my infinite musical culture. A whole lifetime won't be enough to fill all the holes.

I completely disagree. They tried to change, to give a twist. I believe that putting oneself on the line is a sign of intelligence. If you want to hear Talk about the passion or Losing my religion 4500 times, then go back and listen to the old albums. As for the references to sex, well, they are present in many authors from many albums. Shall we ask David Bowie, Mick Jagger, or the RHCP? Or Lou Reed? It certainly didn’t make me laugh (at all), nor did I care for the pretentious tone. However, it's definitely not grammatically incorrect and it’s not poorly written either.

I didn't listen to the live but I read the tracklist. Scary! The review is beautiful as well.

I don't know. I'm torn between this album and Hybrid Theory... mmm...
