"Grunge never existed" seems to me a cliché statement, straight out of a book. Grunge absolutely existed. We could go on for hours discussing how, where, and why. So, kraut-rock never existed either, nor stoner. There are sounds that are typically grunge, in my opinion. We could debate this for hours! In any case: respect to Soundgarden and to Cornell's phenomenal voice.

She is absolutely not my type. And neither is her music. I happened to listen to the album from a friend and I find it truly awful. The review, however, is nice even though the emotions the record brought us are diametrically opposed.
