Very good, huh. After a long discussion, my friends convinced me to listen to them. Good job, huh...

I completely agree with Bartle, who has pinpointed the problem perfectly. You take yourself too seriously. Read a review of Tepes (who listens to stuff much more extreme than you) and somehow, he still manages to make you finish reading the review. Your reviews are really flat. Metallic riff, devastating drums... similar nonsense. In short, be a little creative, cut and sew, mix things up. Don’t keep proposing the same 500 words reshuffled and reused for every band you review. And above all, realize that there’s more out there than just metal. It seems like all these bands have created masterpieces, but many of them released 1 or 2 albums and then (thankfully) disappeared. A bit too little to consider them cornerstones...

Radiohead In Rainbows

@47: well, if she didn't like Ok Computer and didn't like Kid-A either, I seriously doubt she'll enjoy the mental gymnastics of Amnesiac. It's a good album but in my opinion quite pretentious, although, in the long run, it perhaps offers more satisfaction than The Bends.

@Melissa: "I've never listened to "The Bends" <-- in my opinion, a seriously grave omission. The Radiohead of The Bends are the most genuine and natural. Download it and give it a listen! You won't regret it.

I also agree that The Bends is spectacular in its lightness, and Fake Plastic Trees is one of the most beautiful songs by Radiohead. Perhaps the one that suits Yorke's voice best.

I haven't heard it, but the cover is gorgeous! The review didn't convince me; I found it long and a bit heavy. Polè, weren't you a music expert before half of debaser bashed you??? It'll happen with movies sooner or later too;)!

Elf, there were already a thousand of them. And you say nothing new... I appreciated Radiohead's return to their roots. In my opinion, The Bends and Pablo Honey are a fantastic example of pop-rock.
Jimi Hendrix Live At Woodstock (dvd)
Voto:
Let's be honest. This concert is terrible. If it hadn't been Hendrix and it hadn't been Woodstock, no one would have dared to say it was a spectacular concert. Thundering sounds, noise, amplifiers in saturation and feedback. Total crap! But it made history... 5 just to remember the man who changed the guitar. The concert itself... would be 2, at most 3 stars!

forget the votes! or the marks landers. Great record but it didn't excite me.
