Tim Burton Sweeney Todd

violence and revenge for their own sake, the kind that blinds you, the kind that makes you unable to understand anything, not even who is in front of you. Beautiful, never disappointed by Burton. Mr. T and Mrs. Lovett, a perfect evil couple. Set designs, settings, and tailor-made music. The 'gothic' par excellence: dark and wicked in a Victorian London that is always black and smoky, only Burton can bring you these dirty, bloody fairy tales this way and make you fall in love with sharp blades... when the sun comes out, it almost hurts to open your eyes, accustomed and in love with the darkness. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Another little gothic masterpiece.

I didn't follow it too closely. But Elio at the after festival had me dying of laughter. Look for something on YouTube. Elio redoing Meneguzzi's song is amazing, here it is:

Chilling. The complete absence of any background music is chilling. Bardem is chilling.

Which side are you on? :D Yes, S4, there’s even better, but we were talking about dancefloors here. And the combination of both things would be the best!

At intervals, it outlined the 'twisted' dynamics of male minds. These men!

how much I liked and how it made me smile the character of Rob in Hornby's book always making musical rankings (him and those guys of his friends) then when it was the important moment to voice his opinion...
I've never seen the movie, but it must be nice, there's the part when he makes love with his ex after her father's funeral? him who never knew what to think :)

I really enjoy personal reviews. As for dancefloors, I think the same as you :D and if I go (when I go) it’s only for the purely liberating side of it. Coming home exhausted from dancing, sweaty and completely drained is just so exhilarating! I'm listening to Yendri. EBM, the really heavy stuff, is one of those genres that drives me crazy and that I dance way better to, much better.
