A really shitty review...sorry to say it, but your thoughts were thrown together at random in a frenzy of excitement, without reflection and without coherence. I agree with you about the album, although here too, you were overly superficial...Anyway, personally, I like Megadeth from Countdown onward.

Redemption album…winning melodies but the ideas were few and mostly copied from the past. Dave Gilmour, as usual, delivered an excellent performance, receiving not a few compositional "assists" (A moore above all). In some episodes, the album reaches remarkable peaks (On the Turning Away, Symbols of Life, and Sorrow)...however, on the whole, I can't say I consider it exceptional...also because it is totally inferior to what Pink Floyd fans had been accustomed to until then…The review is, however, excellent. Congratulations.

Did Rhoads really write almost the entire subsequent Bark at the Moon? I really didn’t know that! Especially since the credits on that album are all attributed to Ozzy! Anyway, in my opinion, Bark at the Moon is far inferior in quality compared to Diary of a Madman (which I consider one of the most beautiful albums ever). Also, frankly, Jake E. Lee has never excited me much as a guitarist... Regarding Shot in the Dark, I can’t even help you... also because in the original version that song was played by Lee... (The Ultimate Sin was the last LP with that guitarist in the lineup...). I don’t know if the others can tell you anything more... I’m sorry!

(Now that your tones have been somewhat worn down by some moderate dissent and you've been forced to come down from that pedestal, I respond to you)..I mentioned the news about Rhoads' lack of fame because I read it in Lemmy's biography... he himself, who personally knew Rhoads, specified this in his book: that when he was alive, he was regarded as a great guitarist, like Zakk Wylde is now, but nothing more. Regarding the hyperbole relating to Rhoads' death, I used this rhetorical figure not in a derogatory tone... but precisely to adapt this kind of equation: Death of a good guitarist : emphasis = Death of an excellent guitarist stands for hyperbole, for Rhoads' story. As you may have read from the comments above, the three friends I mentioned have agreed with me on this observation, you have not..AM on this I have no objection, because I believe it’s important to respect others' opinions, no matter how distant they are from one's own. Bye
