P.S. When you say an album is wonderful, explain why it is, and don’t just mention how many awards it has received because that’s irrelevant; and if we were interested, we could check Wiki.

My son, I have owned this EP since its release, and I think I've "listened" to it more than you have "heard" it. If I make a criticism, it's not pretty and measured, and you should learn to accept it and respond with intelligence!

Nothing exceptional really: the album in question is the same as the review, meaning repetitive and rather trivial, just as only the White Stripes can be!

I agree, it indeed doesn't add anything and at the same time doesn't take away...a bit of a flat album for this reason I gave it 3 stars, a middle ground in short.

But what do you mean “scientifically tested”… let’s give reviews their true value: this is a complete failure! It’s obvious that the reviewer was neither able to provide a decent critical assessment nor to be sarcastic.

It's not easy to keep one foot in two stirrups, and Michael was doing well to give his best on his own during that time!

No matter how much you intended to make us smile, you didn't succeed, dear reviewer... in a nutshell, everything is cool except for this review!

I’m changing my rating, I realize I’ve gone overboard and I’m bringing it down from a 4 to a 3 because the more I listen to this album, the more I realize that compared to its predecessors, it’s practically useless... if I keep this up, I might end up giving it a 1!!! I prefer Medulla but that’s just because the choice is only between the two!

I agree with Florescenza regarding the best songs on the album, especially Dull Flame of Desire, which in my opinion is worth the entire album, while the second half makes me yawn. However, I don't agree that Medulla is occasionally boring... I prefer it to Volta. This last effort of his disappointed me a bit; there’s no innovation or anything that sets it apart from previous releases, in fact, it’s overly self-congratulatory and lacks a "distinct character." Medulla at least has a well-defined sound, as do Vespertine, and I don’t understand what point you’re making about it being pretentious and unbearable, dear reviewer? Have you listened to Where is The Line, Triumph Of The Heart, Oceania, Who is It, Desired Constellation? I would say they are quite accessible. I still give it a 4 because in reality it’s more like a 3.5, and 3 is truly too low, just like the disappointment.
