for the setting the first one, for the mods the second, and for the multiplayer (and the engine, which continued to be purchased by third parties until 2005, that is, 6 years after its completion) the spectacular third episode. If they had made a quake1 with the engine and multiplayer of the 3, it would have been monumental.

exactly, it’s not complete yet. Instead of saying it's useless, if you have the necessary knowledge, contribute; the project is open. scummvm itself wouldn't be at the level it is now (consider that Atari brought some graphic adventures to Wii relying on scummvm) if everyone had dismissed it as useless when it was running half an adventure and had quite a few problems.

you are mistaken^^
for graphic adventures based on scumm (like maniac mansion, dott, monkey island 1&2, indiana jones, the dig, sam&max hit the road, etc.) there’s ScummVM (FOSS, available for practically every existing platform). for 3D games based on lua, like grim fandango or escape from monkey island, there’s Residual, but it’s still not as complete as scumm (e.g. saves in Grim Fandango don’t work).

Damn, Maniac Mansion is a milestone, but as a graphic adventure it was pretty tough. I've always preferred the sequel; DOTT was less frustrating in my opinion. Venusian, please do a good job; Manuèl deserves it :)

But damn, 166 comments mostly focused on video games and no one mentions Grim Fandango! (or even Day Of The Tentacle). I'm all for game reviews; some of them are true works of art regardless (and if instead of the latest crap of Indiana Jones, they had replicated Indiana Jones & The Fate Of Atlantis, it would have been something magnificent).

"When you’re so drunk that you marry a pregnant woman you met the night before and can’t remember anything in the morning, it’s the right time to stop drinking... but also the time to start again."
You reminded me that it’s time to get the second season; the first one was quite enjoyable. (But the definitive series remains Dexter.)

I respect them, mostly for always being self-produced (which has allowed them to make quick style changes). Live, they're not bad at all (I saw them at the Sherwood Festival a few days ago for just €1), although it's a bit annoying to see them get booed as soon as they play less raucous songs (during "un approdo," for example, after which they performed a medley of some ska tracks to keep the crowd entertained :/). 3.5 rounded up, I'm a bit afraid they won't be able to replicate that great thing that was "and then we met impero."

Hmm, I can barely hear post rock in this. Ambient is ambient, but it lacks the explosions. A pleasant little record, although I sense echoes of other productions by the Canadian (I don't know, one of the first songs reminds me of the riff from Seventh Wave in Ocean Machine). Exceptional with a capital Z, I would avoid overly easy comparisons with other artists, but overall a good review. I give the album a 3 because although I find it very good, it lacks that something that drives repeated listens (it could also be the genre).

taken just tonight on trust (and I say that to compliment the review, excellent).
I’m quite curious.
