ahaha Aeneas, it's true, for sure now someone is going to come along and start bothering us with some wacky theory, alright, "de gustibus," as someone on this site enjoys repeating, but enough is enough!

Wow, finally Lewis... I haven't even read it yet, but as soon as I saw it, I rushed to leave this comment... now I'm going back up to enjoy it, I already know it will be excellent!

Already Franziska is really too underrated or intentionally overlooked. I've called him pessimistic because it seems to me, at least from his songs, that he believes little in any pre-packaged ideology and has few certainties (which often allows for many perspectives) leading to a strong disillusionment with the world... even though it's true that his songs are fresh and contemporary.

You know, Grass, I'll tell you... I only got to know him a couple of summers ago. There was this friend of mine who had a tape of his in his car, and he made me listen to it for an entire month... I, used to the "usual" singer-songwriters, found in him a truly original and very personal voice, really a very peculiar artist. Of course, he might not appeal to everyone; in fact, he hasn't been very popular. But I believe that listening to him in hindsight, after those hot years, one can better appreciate the freedom and autonomy, often labeled, I’m told, as banality... see you!
