Why is it that only in Italy we see so many talented artists in despair??? I don't get it...

If you allow me to give you a suggestion for listening, and I do it because I’m absolutely convinced of what I’m recommending, put "Labyrinth of dreams" or "Supremacy" in your player, the first two albums by Elegy. Simply masterpieces. Byez.

of course, he can never be given a 5, except for those who have been listening to metal for a few months and have never licked their ears with albums from dream theater, angra, elegy, shadow gallery, etc., etc., etc.

I found it in a second-hand shop and I couldn't resist picking it up, being a lover of Prog and QR. It's been in the player for hours and hours, and although I never truly focused on listening, I must say it hasn't convinced me much. It feels like a jumble of musical moments, some well-executed, but overall lacking in depth and emotion. For now, I don't feel like saying more; I'll return after a careful listen with headphones.

the absolute best, I don't understand how one could prefer superunknown, but maybe it also depends on my metal background..

Kiko Loureiro No Gravity

this album is amazing, really really really... as much as the release of Deus Petrucci impressed me positively, this instrumental by Kiko is stunning. emotional, you can feel the enthusiasm, the passion, the joy. A must-have, no comparison to those cold ones, Vai and Satriani.

Well, nothing new, dear pretazzo. For a long time, many have argued that this album cannot be considered "true" prog metal. The album is from 1988, and it just so happens that the official birth of metal prog is often traced back to 1992 with the release of Images and Words by the Gods. Apart from this undeniably significant issue of genre labels, the fact remains that we are facing a tremendous heavy metal album (AOR, I would certainly say no! It’s definitely not rock...) Byez.
