Hi Caz... I never said this is my favorite Kyuss album (for the record, it's Blues For The Red Sun...) And I never said that cocaine has psychedelic effects! (even though I'm proud to say I've never used it!)... about Photropic, I meant that the voice seems to come from a remote, distant place, in a metaphysical sense... not that the voice is terrifying!!! (actually, "to come" is different from "to come out of"...) anyway, points of view! as always, I welcome the critiques...

I'm very passionate about the genre and it's only natural that I find in you an excellent reference... the story of your thesis on grunge really struck me, I would love to read it! I caught a glimpse of the Soundgarden biography the other day at the library... once my exams are over, I think I'll read it...
