The review is not bad, but for this album they would have deserved the export license from Canterbury :-)))))

Not very convincing as evidence (from Albini and company)... I believe his friends appreciated the thought but many did not like the gift itself. How did you manage to get it...? I for free... :-)))

maryg... I feel the same way as you do, even though I still prefer Sorry Ma, forgot to take out the trash over all the others. It’s auteur punk (whatever that might mean...)

As a psycho... I just don't like them... I find them a bit "out there," much better the beat they had as Action... of which I wrote about some time ago... nice review, by the way, few (but very good) words...

For Korn, so far so good, in fact, very good... then the subsequent albums live up to the review above...
Nicola di Bari Un successo dopo l'altro

The First Successes
In 1964, he participated in the Cantagiro with "Amore ritorna a casa," achieving a modest success. The following year, he appeared at the Sanremo Festival with "Amici miei" (in duet with Gene Pitney) and at the Cantagiro with "Piangerò."
He returned to the Festival in 1966 with "Lei mi aspetta," and again to the Cantagiro with "3.000 tamburi," and once more, for the fourth consecutive time, to Sanremo in 1967 with "Guardati alle spalle." During these years at Jolly, he met and became friends with Luigi Tenco, and years later he would dedicate an entire LP to the songs of the singer-songwriter.
These early successes made him a well-known name, so by the end of 1967, he was contacted by RCA, who signed him and had him record in 1968 a cover of a song by Eric Charden, "Il mondo è grigio il mondo è blu," which became a major hit (years later, Franco Battiato would reference it in his famous song "Cuccurucucu"), followed the next year by another cover, "Eternamente," from Charlie Chaplin's movie Limelight: however, he was still missing a major breakthrough, which would come in the early years of the following decade.
He was already super famous in the 60s, not at all minor music...
