Even One by Metallica deviates a bit from One by U2... how strange...

Triple back somersaults, my dear. Poletti, for God's sake, a bit of serious humility. Scaruffi (and just look at him, he’s the one who’s papering the villa in L.A. with degrees) is more than enough.

Francesco De Gregori Per brevità chiamato artista

Damn, I'm joining you among your supporters... I was having this exact conversation with a dear musician friend. De Gregori is MY favorite singer-songwriter, but he stopped making serious stuff (for me) after Titanic, so it's been at least 30 years that he's been recycling the same things, putting a couple of good tracks on each album to drag it along while he gets by doing concerts. Total respect, but the Prince has been hanging up his shoes for a while now. As for Vasco Brondi (aka Le Luci...), I was left speechless, precisely because you can hear not only Gaetano, Massimo Volume, CCCP, early Vasco (Rosssi sigh), the drugged-up Luca Carboni (his own words), and a bit of De Gregori from Buonanotte Fratello... but it’s fucking contemporary, "new" is top-notch singer-songwriter material... like only Bachi da Pietra in this meager Italian millennium... sorry for the outburst... but "THE CCCP are no longer here... for quite some time."

I fully agree on Somebody and am a bit less so on White Rabbit... the former is nothing short of spectacular here...!

@Vortex... fully. I bought One step inside... in a half-open box and gave it away after the second listen. I downloaded this and was immediately bored. Explosions are a notch above for me; they have something special, those languid guitars typical of the southern U.S. that others lack.

I quote a lot in toto... (what a poet I am)... I also downloaded it from the soul seeker and was dazzled, then with subsequent listens it faded a bit... perfect review...!
