Luciano Ligabue La Neve Se Ne Frega

With all due respect (not much, artistically speaking) for Liga, placing him alongside Orwell or Huxley seems truly exaggerated. I read the book at a friend's insistence… predictable and also a bit (too) rhetorical.

Of course, Spiderland had a certain influence on Massimo Volume... Pizze Express pays them a strong tribute. But for this reason, I argue that they were superior, as if you try to find "godfathers," you end up with Slint and not the usual Sonic Youth (we're already in the 90s). As for Palazzo, one can invoke Jesus Lizard and Helmet... with CSI it’s a bit more complicated... certainly in TRE they seem like the Cure playing songs by CCCP and vice versa.

@Don... of course, if Mimì and Umberto had managed not to clash (artistically), they with Egle and Vittoria would have been the greatest Italian rock band, with all due respect to Marlene and CSI (the best of the 90s), of whom they would have been (and both formations were) much less derivative and more original...

@azzo... envy envy envy... they played in Milan and I was sick, and Verona in December is very far away. I saw them many years ago in Reggio Emilia on April 25th. Great people and great music. I join the hope of being comforted next September by Mimì's tales. Thank you for the page, filled with envy...

Among the 4/5 Italian prog albums I absolutely prefer. Monstrous.

Aside from Gainsbourg (I don't know Brassens well enough), who is the leader of our French cousins, I vote for the incredible truth of Sebastien Tellier as the best album. Here, however, we are at the heights of excellence...

Nice review, well done. I think three balls are a bit few though...

I worked for 8 months 500 meters in a straight line from the temple... I left for London with a strong fondness for Liverpool... I returned fully soaring 100%. @psycho... maybe that's the reason. I'm a bit disjointed by nature, and I had to make discontinuity the reason for my life... something that was also pointed out to me regarding my choice of reviews (shelf syndrome... hi hi hi)
