@geeno... about the director, I don't think so, especially because someone who directed (I’ll only mention the ones I've seen): In the Heat of the Night (67) - Fiddler on the Roof (71) - Jesus Christ Superstar (73) - Rollerball (75) - F.I.S.T (78) - Agnes of God (85) - Moonstruck (87) - Hurricana (99)... doesn’t seem too mainstream to me. He has always made films with important underlying themes. Perhaps it was a bit of an Americanization (or maybe it seems that way), but I also saw it when I was young and was fascinated by the violence; then I realized there was much more behind it— the depersonalizing politics of globalization, mind control... it's much more than it actually seems...

Seen this summer in Roseto and they didn't leave me very satisfied, maybe because I was there for the Mogwai... :-))) Well-written review, and above all, heartfelt.

Good morning and thanks to passersby... it’s a film that was visionary, and its visions have proven prophetic. Of course, seen today, one cannot help but agree with muffin, it’s slow, at times exhausting, but it remains one of those films that I have appreciated at all stages of life...

I lean towards Johnny Bravo (and especially his mom...), then Cow and Chicken and Dexter... this just seems really (just) stupid to me...
