Country Joe & The Fish Electric Music For Mind And Body
Voto:
I have been a lover of American folk rock since I first heard Camper Van Beethoven... (late '80s... or so)... they did a cover for an album, and I stumbled upon "Pourpose Mouth" by Country Joe & The Fish (which irritated me just with the name). Then I was lucky enough to find "I Feel Like I'm Fixing To Die" for a few cents, and I realized that it had nothing to do with country... and I arrived at this, which even today, after listening to it multiple times for the review, gives me chills... and it feels less distant in time compared to the works of Quicksilver or the Jeffersons themselves... it's a record that I adore, and given the five who throw themselves around like a dog, this has influenced whole generations of musicians, not only in the USA. I understand your doubts, Nobody, but I love it.

The thing that disappoints me the most is that you used the name of the greatest wrestler of all time... the rest... whatever...

Regards Mr. Sfasciacarri... of the aforementioned I only know A Taste For Bitters, which I find very commendable... after your rather exhaustive and complete examination, I approach to search. Marci beaucoup

I also think that downloading has countless positive aspects... it helps me discover a ton of music that I wouldn't know how to find otherwise... but despite (or thanks to) this, the records that particularly strike me I then go looking for in their original form, and if they are on vinyl (the older ones) even better... I don’t think this harms anyone; on the contrary, I have bought records that I would never have considered without first finding them through downloads, because buying sight unseen is always a gamble. For example, I’ve had Athletico Spizz 80 on a worn-out BASF ferro/chromo cassette for twenty years... then one evening I found it on Soul Seek from a Japanese user and finally, at the penultimate Vynil Mania in Novegro, I bought it on vinyl... and only then did I allow myself to review it. Nothing comes close to the original, but getting to know it beforehand... I believe...

You forgot his (their) psychedelic masterpiece from '69... Pretties For You... for me (and I emphasize FOR ME) everything he has done after diminishes the aforementioned MASTERPIECE...
