Yes, Festwca... I believe you are absolutely right.

Cope/Scaruffi honestly anticipates in the preface that he is biased, he is a punk and as a good punk he claims that the only good album by Genesis is the one to prop up a wobbly table leg... perhaps it’s a bit exaggerated, but definitely amusing...

they are definitely all excellent singers... but what I can't stand is that type of falsetto... which, with all due respect, is also the one of the cugini di campagna...

It's a book that makes you love all the groups mentioned right off the bat... if you know them, you understand what it's talking about...

Unlike super, up here, I quote Ys (even though the singing of 99% of Italian "prog" bands annoys me quite a bit). Here we are still faced with an excellent album... the review is beautiful beat... congrats!

Silver Apples are one of the most incredible things I've ever heard... the title track is a 5.5 and Contact is slightly below it... I'd say a 5.2. I've been trying for months to figure out where to start reviewing them...

I wondered about the date too... I believe it's a reprint... mine is a German edition from '92/'93... but I know they recently reprinted all of them.

I saw them in action last night in Legnano at the Jail Club... MONSTROUS. I still can't wrap my head around what I witnessed. Josi_ was there too, and I believe he can also confirm the event we attended...

psycho... krautrocksampler I've consumed as well. Of course, this is more related to psychedelia and the Velvets, also because the American Mooney had taken a bit of the spotlight and his influences are very audible here, but after 37 years it's an album that is frightening... I can't place it behind the three masterpieces...
