PIXELID, you're right... but Tomorrow Never Knows (psychedelia) and the proto-progressive of A Day In The Life, I truly believe so.

I’m a big fan… of music and especially the Fab Four. on/off I like your way of ā€œcriticizingā€ constructively. I adore them because I found in them the perfect blend of mainstream pop and all the new waves that were exploding in the music world… (like psychedelia…) so a piece like Rain (which our inattentive reviewer includes in this work) seems to me one of the first consciously psychedelic pieces (as I’ve written elsewhere) to the point that even Barrett would say that their favorite group was them (and the list of artists who have declared the same would be endless). Then I understand your positions; I’ve immersed myself in them many times and definitely came out more critical of the Beatles, but when I find that people want to shoot them down just to get attention, without anything real to say… well, the 5 stars go full throttle. Perhaps it’s a little childish, but it’s the reaction of a fan… I believe.
Hi Beat… I’ll be back to full swing soon…

Alright, I burned the comment. I was saying that I saw them a few years ago at the Montreux Jazz Festival, sharing the lineup with Mogwai and Tricky, but they overshadowed both. They are geniuses.

YO LA TENGO... AMAZING. I saw them a few years ago at the Montreux Jazz Festival... they are truly geniuses. They played as the opening act, before Mogwai and Tricky (!!!!!!). They wiped the floor with both of them. ECLECTIC.

I never vote for reviews that speak poorly of albums I love... it would be a pointless argument. I respect your opinions, but just two small clarifications: they were called THE Beatles, and the song Rain is not included in this work, but was released only as the B-side of Paperback Writer...

I'm coming too (fashionably late but I'm coming)... very good!

The only flaw (hence one point less) is that they are called THE Kinks...

Thank you both... Gattinator, I've seen your reviews and as soon as I have a bit of time I'll go read them, interesting choices. Psycho... the 60s were an explosion of everything, including the crappiest crap... I have this and Writing On The Wall from the Middle Earth reissues, and both are notable records... but as I’ve already said elsewhere, I still have some mystery box packages at home...
