YOU'RE PART OF IT, BUT WITHOUT EVER HEARING THE LITTLE BROTHERS, YOU DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT PUNK IS....

Intriguing the review, since not talking about the music IT MENTIONED THE SEMPOLS (intriguing too). From the cover, they look like the Addams Family in a Tim Burton remake… well done Odra.

I see with great (dis)pleasure that nobody has mentioned Tarot by Walter Wegmuller (1973)... there are a couple of pieces that when put together make Gilmour's ass look like an elephant's in Wish You Were Here... and he was even Swiss, not even an original kraut.

I know the interview and the concert in question because in the CD reissue (I'm at work and I can't remember whose it is) that includes this and Contact, there is a nice booklet that takes excerpts from this interview where they also talk about the Blue Cheer as drunken bikers without bikes... ah Simeon, what a bizarre character he must be.

I have an age where I got to know them when Too Tough Too Die was released, even though a friend had just sold me all his records up to that one... I received this one a bit lukewarmly, although I agree with you that they are punk...

I agree with Zion, the Floyd used machines in rock in an innovative way (experimental...????), the Silver Apples had a concept that didn't exist in any contemporary band.

@psycho... I struggle to "suicide" (even if virtually my alter ego that has been accompanying me in everything I do related to music for a couple of years now), the seven/eight minutes of Sky Children are, as I said, tear-inducing, and not just metaphorically, given that they first appeared during a time when I lost someone with whom I had a special relationship... @Beat... there’s a Repertoire reissue with 7 bonus tracks, I don’t think it’s complicated if you find a store that has reissues, I believe they can procure it for you. I saw it on the shelf at Fnak in Milan....
