Well done... really. Even if they were truly Mod. The only one who wasn’t was Daltrey; in fact, he was a """rocker""" from the outskirts, always ready to throw a punch. But Pete, John, and The Loon were Mod to the core, then as they grew up, things changed, and they musically evolved a lot (certainly improved)... but the attitude was there and still remains, and with Quadrophenia, they try to distance themselves from it, with themselves above all. Great review... really.

roland... I really like your approach to music... I feel like recommending to you the Australians Radio Birdman (hardcore turns into punk – really technically skilled) and the Saints (much, much wilder). Congratulations... a fundamental album also for the development of Math-rock... I believe that Damon Che from Don Caballero has revised and corrected his approach for his future productions based on this album (and on Action Park, a true masterpiece by Albini - for me).
