The only records that sound exactly (to my ears) the same way they did back then are those of the Melvins and Superfuzz by Mudhoney... also because they are genres unto themselves, thrown into the grunge cauldron (a bit forcefully)... how does Ten by Pearl Jam sound to you today...???
