Very true, trell... something like that had only happened to me with Girls Against Boys, many years ago at Leonka.

Thank you... well yes, Fest, we arrived in the afternoon, after already making contact the night before in Milan. They let us in for free, offered us food, drink, and... okay. We really talked about everything, and while this was happening, Doug even found the time to burn me two CDs, one by Captain Beefheart (his favorite artist) and one from a cover band he set up in Boise, while Netson gifted me "Keep on truckin'" from his Caustic Resin (still in cellophane) along with his upcoming work featuring a girl on marimbas and him on guitar and vocals... they were very interested in the socio-political situation in Italy and resigned to fight a battle against the power, through the network, music, and everything in our power. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. And then on stage, they are truly intimidating...

"Said Said looks at the cow, looks at the cow... this cow story in broad daylight just doesn't sit right with me..." the review is a bit stretched, for one of my top 5 movies of all time (I think I've seen it at least thirty times... ;-) "Is Asterix there...???"
Alejandro Jodorowsky El Topo

The ""trilogy"" Montagna Sacra, Santa Sangre, and El Topo make Jodorowsky the greatest cinematic lysergic author of all time. A few years ago I had the opportunity to meet him for the Grinzane, but at the last moment he stayed in Paris with a fever. On that occasion I saw Santa Sangre on the big screen... what an emotion...

I must say that my first encounter with Wenders was with Until the End of the World, and the scene in the desert with the umbrella and the airplane door still sends shivers down my spine. But this Wenders and especially this Cooder are magical. Once again, Don, thank you.
Radiohead Ok Computer

In 1997, the revolution was driven by groups like Godspeed You Black Emperor, Mogwai, Tortoise... I really like Radiohead, and at the overground level, they definitely brought many innovations that bands like Slint had done almost ten years earlier...
