MASTERPIECE... but I wouldn’t stronk Gilliam... Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Time Bandits, Twelve Monkeys... and then I’ll go against the tide but I think Fear and Loathing is a great film... it always makes me laugh and cry... must be the fried cells...
Stephen Stills Just Roll Tape
Voto:
Crosby Stills and Nash ("group" and title) or as the reviewer beautifully writes, Manassas. But above all, the two Buffalo Springfield... monumental.

Ian Williams... never forget Storm & Stress
Green Day American Idiot

Their social commitment culminated in The Saints with U2... well... let's just say we won't discuss the music...

Great review... short, dense, and precise. I downloaded it about a month ago and I must say I enjoyed it quite a lot. Better than his solo albums...
Paul McCartney Chaos And Creation In The Backyard

There was nobody... they all came later... from the Stones, Who, Byrds... to Mothers of Invention, Pink Floyd, and whoever else you can think of. And if we want to acknowledge that their history (musical and social) changed drastically from the meeting with Dylan in '64, fine... but there were no pop-rock groups and/or artists in '63!!!

I agree and confirm Mr. Signorboni's words... they were two (musical) pieces fused together, one by Giovanni and the other by Paolo... the words are all by the former. As for the importance, I won't waste another breath... the musicians who came after them speak to how much they influenced. Almost no one in rock (only fools in pop might deny it) denies the influence of the four. Then think what you like... and in '63, give me names of people who made better records in the pop-rock realm... come on, give me the names...

Great review... a perfect snapshot. I agree with the rating because they sound a bit dated... but listening to them never hurts.
