Oh my God, hair metal! A friend of mine loves them, having been raised on bread, guitar solos, and perfectly maintained long blonde hair! I just can’t stand it...
Blur Modern Life Is Rubbish

I have this album but I've never really listened to it closely. I believe that from the Brit-pop era of Blur, only the greatest hits are worth saving. The Blur with the best and most talented facade starts with their self-titled masterpiece from 1997.

Gianluca Grignani La Fabbrica Di Plastica

5 for the choice of the album. Grignani with balls when he didn't realize that with this style in Italy you couldn't make a living. Inspired by Radiohead's "The Bends," it's an album of exceptional impact. The title track is devastating. An album that seems to be produced by Canali.
Joy Division Unknown Pleasures

Great review, Emily. I’m giving you 4 stars instead of 5 because you didn’t mention even minimally the rhythmic structures and the bass, which is the true driving force of this album.

Stop being fans and flatterers of the situation. Sallu is right to review whatever he wants (the New Radicals' album is pop of the best kind. Gregg Alexander is a great songwriter). And stop insulting each other.

Interpol = Television (for the guitar approach and rhythmic parts) + Joy Division (for the vocal parts).
