Yes... excessively stereotyped... just like the really too many quotes about the trends (musical and otherwise) of the '80s... I saw it once and I will never watch it again even under torture... the 15 million in box office for such a flimsy story says a lot of things...

the live in tokyo don’t take it the wrong way.. but it’s kind of ugly.. great performance by slash (I would dare to say: "strange..") but the rest of the band doesn’t seem capable of holding the stage.. a lackluster performance in my opinion for a concert that served perfectly as a sleeping pill and nothing more..
