Brian Eno Discreet Music
Voto:
Some of Eno's albums are ESSENTIAL and moving. This is one of those that I've perhaps appreciated the least. A solid 3 for an abundant artist.

You know, they didn't drive me crazy even before, for the reasons you explained.

Well, I've listened to Invisible by A Toys Orchestra, which had me feeling down for a week because it was so pathetically standard; I think I would agree with him.

"I repeat: if you thought I insulted him, I simply wanted to say that he, having heard many things that perhaps I and others like, is a bit biased since often those things are not for him!" No, I would like to know where it says that only he would be biased and above all that those things are not for him. Do you like to think that? But doesn’t it ever occur to you that, beyond personal tastes, sometimes you could objectively be wrong? Don’t you smell something foul when you give 4 and 5 stars to every album? Try listening to others every once in a while. No malice, you know, but I don’t understand where all this certainty about your ideas comes from.

"Easycure doesn’t matter." Oh well, I would be extremely curious to know who does matter then. I'm sorry to see that Easy is commenting less and less on Deb; his posts may indeed piss some people off (they’ve certainly pissed me off too, after all), but they are objectively a breath of fresh air amidst the bullshit that you read in the feed.

A why isn’t industrial simply a branch of “electronics,” just like Trip Hop? But why don’t you go kill yourself if you have nothing intelligent to say? :-) It’s like saying “new wave isn’t rock, it’s new wave.” What a laugh. "The electronics I mean are those paired with '90s rock"—the records I brought you are rock in every sense, or do you still think that to play rock you need the typical guitar, bass, and drums? "But let’s drop it, it’s not like you understand much and you don’t even have taste,” in fact, you have the taste, obviously!

But then ask the other 5 users who voted 1 or 2 for this album, if I don't convince you...

"he was a pioneer in the use of electronics on KID A" Meaning he was a forerunner of one of the most overrated albums of the 90s, as pleasant as it may be: Kid A. But then it’s all to be seen whether he actually pioneered it or not, but even if he did, who cares. I look at the album itself, and this is a mediocre album, BEYOND Corgan's voice, BEYOND any influences. If what is found on this album is smart electronics, what are The Downward Spiral, Dummy, Delete Yourself, Thaw? Superhuman?
