Well, you call me a hypocrite and then I can't call you a buttface? Anyway, aside from the talk: "what ridiculous reasoning," "Of course your logic is something unbelievable." Put the piffero wherever you like, and reactivate that quarter of a cerebral hemisphere you have left just to take the vinegar when you're backed into a corner. But now that I think about it, in the past I've made little jokes about Starblazer (another fake DOC), so I can't speak too much, otherwise I would be a hypocrite. Well, damn it, I preach well but I also stumble!

Superpoor, you are the perfect example of how a pseudo "character" from Debaser, when attacked and not knowing which mirror to climb, starts throwing around random terms like "yokel," "scum," and "frustration" (the most commonly used term when in difficulty, indeed it's a classic, good for every occasion), while also self-proclaiming as "mister" compared to someone else. It's too funny to see those like Supersoul being called out, and then watch how they resent it and can't accept even half a critique, not even for money, because they have an image to defend and it certainly won't be the first lux to tarnish it! "I won't resort to insults," and sure, in fact just look at the great offenses I've hurled at you. I called you super fool, and I was more than kind, because you deserved worse. Furthermore, I called you a super fool AFTER YOU came out with a hypocrite (another overused term during a dispute) just to open your mouth, instead of shutting up that arrogant sewer of yours, raising your heels, and disappearing. Just to be clearer, "what nonsense reasoning," "Sure your logic is something incredible," say that to your sister. Or you can say certain things to her, but then you must be ready for the inevitable responses that follow. Maybe you didn't get it, you're wrong, and a little professor like me won't take you seriously, plain and simple. Oh and please remind me that I made fun of Sciusciola, the current Deb fake. But for pity's sake, have a bit of shame, please.

Supersilly, I brought you logical explanations for my behavior, and you're responding with three lines of disarming emptiness. "There is never ONE answer to everything, there are only YOUR answers to everything." Indeed, the intermediate seasons are gone, Rome is loved and not discussed, and those who want too much end up with nothing. But let's be clear: what really got on my nerves (a bit sadly, I might add) for giving a 3 to a record was you, and since this isn't the first time I've encountered similar situations on this site, I've long resorted to the right measures with people like you. This doesn't change the fact that if someone writes that the Cynics are "the most striking phenomenon in the entire history of music (contemporary and otherwise)," a little joke slips out even for me, just as it did for several others on that review, I believe. If I wrote in a review that Cristina D'Avena has been the pinnacle of Italian music from post-war to today, I don’t know how much respect I could press after the avalanche of insults, more or less friendly, that I'd inevitably receive. There are opinions and the respect that comes with them, and there are filthy nonsense along with the attached critiques; all of this exists in life. It’s not that “everything is good”; the idea of everything being good corresponds to lobotomy. I also don't care about being perfect or always polite; that wouldn't be possible and would honestly disgust me a bit. However, I don’t go around whining over a 3 for Psychedelic Lollipop, as if we should apologize for the rating we gave. If you want to turn this into a mess, feel free, but the situations seem very different from each other, in fact, they truly are.

To a Supersoul, people like you are the most dangerous; you are what’s known as a “facciadaculo,” capable of flipping things around in any circumstance. The pretentious teacher role was exclusively yours up here, starting with comment no. 8 as a seasoned snob, and I responded far too politely with my post no. 19. And then, from your lofty position of superiority (!?), you had to reiterate your arrogance with comment no. 20 (yes, because your "logic" is convincing, but for pity’s sake… The Piper at the Gates of Dawn and Parable of Arable Land are two magnificent albums, and the second certainly isn’t diminished when placed beside the first). Your questionable performance continues as you seek out my latest posts related to Sciusciola (!!! should I take this seriously?), with whom I clearly had an unresolved issue (you really are a sly one, huh), and they were, in any case, responses to his provocations. The other comment was a response to his claim that Cynic are “the most striking phenomenon in the entire history of music (contemporary and otherwise),” and I replied as one ought to in such cases, come on. If you had written a review praising the Blues Magoos, for example, I would never have responded with “Maybe it’s time to start listening to a bit of music,” because although I wouldn’t agree, it would fall within the realm of human opinion. But that review of Cynic was objectively inhuman, on par with those triumphantly praising Iron Maiden and the latest Metallica album. And anyway, had that reviewer responded poorly to my little jab, I was fully aware it would have been a response following my post. I certainly wouldn’t have complained if he replied, “Lux, fuck off, don’t be a pain in the ass, etc.,” I simply would have tried to explain to him why his statement was utterly unacceptable for good taste. As you can see, there’s a response to everything.

Start respecting the opinions of others instead of being a pain in the ass to those who have different ideas from yours; my reasoning is perfectly sound, based on a perfectly normal criterion of basic originality, and remember that it's not what is beautiful that counts, but how beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful!!!

If I think that a year later Parable Of Arable Land was released, I can only confirm the 3 for this. As for who influenced whom, that's an aspect that no longer intrigues me. I'm convinced that an album should be understood in the here and now, not with hindsight.

Yes, I agree, no more than 3... also considering the year of publication, as you point out.

Strutter is so lame that the Unrest (I repeat U-N-R-E-S-T) thought it would be a great idea to make a beautiful hardcore parody cover of it. And not even on purpose, it's the best track of the album in question, which remains decent but tends to get boring rather quickly.
