Without Opeth, I would have never come close to growling. Perhaps the only true growl is that of Akerfeldt, which makes sense to be sung in the entire Death/Black landscape. It's a shame that those filled with prejudice do not understand that Opeth's death metal is the most unique and deeply infused with pain that has ever existed.
