Aenima is superior to any album in the DT discography, and in progressive rock, if you want to have fun with virtuosic playing, you need to be at least expressive and give it a meaning; otherwise, you'll create anti-art like DT does, especially on this album. Educate yourself better on the history of rock, that's all. Whether or not you personally like Aenima is another matter.

Mauro prog, do you know that technique is the least important characteristic in Rock? Aenima is superior to any Dt album anyway.

Dream Theater, of course I've used colorful expressions on Debaser, no question about it... but (at least so far), I haven't come across any linguistic blunders (or at least I think so), and, I repeat for the umpteenth time, I've listened to 5 songs from Systematic Chaos. I would say that's more than enough to rate the album.

Oh really? You’re not interested in lexical disputes? How strange, though, in the other review you gave me such a hard time because I forgot an E while writing Red Sparowes. “your frequent commenting on the work of all people” – I comment on the albums, first of all. Secondly, when I encounter a poor soul like you who starts insulting just because I said that Systematic Chaos is terrible and merciful, well, then I become quite sadistic. After all, you’re a big DT fan, so your mind can’t help but be clouded.

"YOU'RE MAKING ME BECOME VULGAR AND IT TAKES JUST ONE SUCH A DULL AND SENSELESS PERSON" ...senseless? But !DreamTheater!, your vocabulary enchants me...

Then I would like to point out how your comments on Debaser only refer to Reviews on DT, a couple about Nirvana, and one about King Crimson... comments rich in your great dialectics, by the way.
But my dear interlocutor !dreamtheater! does he at least have a middle school diploma?

OOOOh I forgot an E, this changes everything obviously. Listen a bit, miserable decerebrated idiot devoid of any musical sensitivity, did I offend you by any chance before? I would say no, so why did you start insulting? And then if you really know them, how can you still listen to DT? It's obvious that you lack sensitivity and depth, since if you listen to one, it’s MOOOOOOOLTO difficult to listen to the others as well. But it’s clear that you’ve never heard of them before. Also, I’d like to remind you that you gave 5 stars to the most horrible rock album in history (Systematic Chaos, indeed), so if I were you, I would ban myself from Debaser and go for a walk outside with the dog.

Yes, without a doubt, I don’t understand anything about music. I’ll take up cricket while listening to Neurosis and Red Sparrows. Bands that you, or Dream Theater, will surely know.

"Dream have never disappointed, perhaps only with Train Of Thought and Octavarium." Two disappointing albums is not little... anyway, I practically can't stand them anymore after Awake. SFAM used to be good for me, then I started listening to a certain type of Rock... and goodbye. I've listened to In the presence of enemies part1, Reaptance, The dark eternal night, Constant motion, and The prophets war. All absolutely useless, anachronistic, self-indulgent. And they're even a bit ugly from an aesthetic point of view. (Reaptance and The prophets war are terrible).

Yes, but Lateralus is a bit heavy for me; I prefer Aenima.
