What do you think about the resemblance to Zombie? Do you see it?

Why do I dare to assert the randomness of the early DT albums? Because it's been practically since Falling to Infinity that DT has not produced anything good. So, was I&W and AWAKE the result of chance?

But no one doubts that Moore was better than Rudess. My "appeal" is "let's reflect on whether the approach to Rock taken by the Dt on their most successful albums was intentional or random." Is Learning to Live a random composition? Because if the composition of that song was an isolated case, then the Dt were never truly inspired; they just happened to find the right "catchy form" to channel it at that time.

Call it what you want, but it doesn't seem to me that a "likeness" like that is the height of life! And anyway, I was talking about DOUBT, not CERTAINTY that I&W is lacking. I talked about POSSIBLE devaluation, not SURE devaluation; let's pay attention to the nuances.

Ah ok ok, anyway maybe you meant Devaluation of I&W? As for Zombie, do you remember the melody you find at the beginning of the song powettara orchestrated (and which then repeats halfway through the song and then at the end)? Well, if you sing over it "Another head hangs lowly
Child is slowly taken
And the violence caused such silence
Who are we mistaken?".....you'll see it will fit perfectly!

I can say the same thing about you, Blackdog, we're just not on the same wavelength. Discone about what, exactly? The first song is just like Deadwing, the second is bland pop worse than the post-Silent Enigma Anathema, completely expressionless, and the third... well, I'll leave that aside out of respect for a PT fan I know who commented on this review. But don’t tell me “we’re not on the same page,” because that just makes me laugh. ;-P

And I bet my review will place itself for you in the space "that goes against the dreams in a NON-objective way," right?

No way, nobody's telling you to fuck off! You said one thing right: Better a Cobain than a Petrucci, if the result is meant to be artistic and not a pyrotechnic display of virtuosity.
