Well, the hypothesis that we "are not" is something I had already considered, and to which I found no answer, remaining therefore in a limbo. But if you are so averse to intellectuals, why are you speculating dialectically now? Leave aside intellectuals as such and as individuals; I am interested in the intellectual act, the speculation, which is inherent to man. And you have shown in all your posts that you possess it too. Therefore, being intellectual is a condition that can also concern you, in fact, it pertains to you as a man. To deny culture (more or less dominant), to deny intellectualism, is a clearly and paradoxically intellectual operation. How can man relate to life and the context in which he lives, if not culturally, speculating, etc.? These are the means of man; he has no more.

But guys, you're driving me crazy... can a reviewer be free to say whether an album is bad or good or not? I mean... what does it mean to be objective at this point? To remain in a pain-free neutrality? To use diplomacy so as not to upset either fans or detractors? Are you kidding me?? I mean, the reviewer in a review states whether that album is artistically valuable (to them) or not. End of story. For example, I wrote a review of Systematic Chaos; to me, that album is a 0. It’s artistic nothingness... I don’t say this out of resentment, I’m calm. To me, it really sucks. It completely goes against my standards, my tastes, it makes my skin crawl. However, I explained why I think it’s a poor album; I don’t believe I wasn’t objective just because I "flunked" it (who would I not be objective for? For the fans???? Then it all makes sense...)
