MozzoZzozzo, we’ve understood that you hate my review and that you like the album in question; there’s no need to vote every single time... let’s put these childish behaviors aside, please. Do you think I care about the average review score? Do you think you’re getting back at me?

We were missing a nice asshole like Jek to revive the review; it was getting too serious! But tell me, did you understand anything that was written in the previous posts, or is your brain so rotten that you can’t comprehend anything that isn’t YOUR idea? Come on, go to school a bit. johnny_kj why didn’t you like my review? Yet Systematic sucked for you too. Is it perhaps due to the global devaluation towards the Dt that was discussed in the previous posts?

So in the end, thinking about it, your reasoning fits as well, given that the Beatles indeed had a pop attitude (even in their more intense songs), so they can be defined as Pop without any problem. The catchiest song by the VU is anyway more ambiguous and cross-sectional than the most "rock" song by the Beatles, which reveals itself completely from the very first listen.

Well, if you've listened to bands like Television, My Bloody Valentine, Pere Ubu, and Velvet Underground, there's definitely a reason to criticize this guy!

Sorry Cptgaio, but where do you see my being racist? Can’t I say that what the Residents do is art and (coherently, given the opposite style and attitude towards Rock) say that Systematic Chaos sucks? I believe you are specifically referring to the review I wrote about the Dt.

Yes, but if we consider that pop (understood as a well-defined and reasonably understandable melody) and rock have often gone hand in hand over the years... take Sunday Morning or Femme Fatale for example, just to stay within the VU field. Rock, in my opinion, is more of an attitude than a formally outlined "a priori" format.

Alright, yes, they are discs that aren't very relevant... let's say they suck, okay! The best for me is Abbey RRRRRRRRoad. I'm voting again to find a remedy for the 2 from before.

Oh sorry easy, I meant to give it a 4!

Larrok. I think that easy was referring to the TOTAL common sense of each individual in society, so of the worker as well as the doctor...not just the common sense of the rock enthusiast. If you go to the worker or the doctor, they will tell you that the Beatles are one of the greatest rock bands (along with whom then?), alongside the Rolling Stones; you're mistaken...the Velvet Underground, they don't know them. "Considered not by music brainiacs but by thousands of simple users"...they're not simple users...they're rock enthusiasts! And then thousands of simple users out of how many individuals in the world? Do you understand what I'm trying to say?

One thing is certain: The previous albums Rubber Soul by the Beatles seem quite trivial and simplistic to me.
