No Blackdog, every post I write after yours you always have to comment with that little something of "Lux, you said something stupid." You did it on the reviews of PT, NIN, and Queen. Come on, it's fine to discuss in harmony, but let me live every now and then. If you want to counteract, go ahead, but don't try in vain to make the other feel inferior. You always have to bring up these Queen, that's enough, you know how I think about it.

Blackdog, you are not obliged to comment on every post of mine that you don't like.. honestly, I care relatively little about the lyrics (serious or not) in rock, what interests me is the music, which doesn't blow me away. Is Debaser a site for poetry or music reviews? I opt for the latter. Assuming he said something personal at the beginning, and assuming this album doesn’t totally suck (I gave it a 3, wake up), his style seems pretty conservative overall. I didn’t bring up the American Vasco Rossi story, so it doesn’t concern me. Then you always have to bring up Queen... don’t you like that I enjoy the early records of the Queen? Well... I would say Bob Dylan is a bit better than the Boss, just to make an example.

Honestly, I don't understand what’s so brilliant and/or special about Bruce. After a while, it's tiresome and bores me.

I like the album, but does Gabriel's voice really suck only to me?

But in fact, I would talk more about a critical attitude rather than Critique in the strict sense or that particular critic... it's just that I see a certain type of critical attitude precisely in these "little frustrated" critics "little losers" that ordinary people snub because they see them as extraterrestrials. The fact that culture changes over time is certain (like the charts ;-) but the task of an aspiring sociologist (like myself) is to first analyze a specific historical period with its main trends, and then connect it with the subsequent and previous periods... it's all a panta rei, but with a minimum of organization, a man can abstract and identify characteristics of the historical context he is reading about... always from a cultural point of view, of course. I would like more people to listen to certain stuff because it would be fairer that way, because quality would win over Italian pop songs and watered-down rock. And I could tell my neighbor: "oh cool, Dinosaur Jr" rather than "Cool Stereolab or The Pop Group" without him laughing. Also because theoretically he'd have very little to laugh about... bye!

MAUROPROG, what are you offending? Do you think it's a valid reason to urge him to shoot himself? So, if I give a hard 3 to the record, should I go shoot myself too? Have a little dignity, please.
