Soundgarden and the Smashing Pumpkins are definitely overrated (especially the former).. excuse me, I just had to get that off my chest! The rest of the bands you mentioned are all great, nothing to say.

Well, Ummagumma is not bad at all... Great Gig In The Sky is for me the best of Dark Side (which is nothing but a masterpiece). "Time," on the other hand, aside from its catchy melody, isn't really that avant-garde experimentation... it's just a pop rock song among many. "Speak to Me" is a drag, all lacquered production and little substance. But even "Us and Them" is rather bland if you look closely, and "Money" is just second-hand funk...
