But if it makes me shit, it makes me shit. It's too theatrical and cerebral in certain moments. And it doesn't have such a wonderful tone of voice. Better in this album than in others, though.

It is not the hypothetical quality of one album that determines the mediocrity of another. Three Dollar Bill Y'all by Bizkit is a respectable album (and the best by Bizkit) regardless of whether there are better albums in the crossover pot. I don't know what one could criticize about songs like Stuck, nobody loves me, counterfeit, stalemate. Not to mention John Otto, who delivers a performance that I would say is wild, with a dynamism and a touch that the later Limp albums can only dream of. Dirty, with a genuinely pissed-off Dust, an album that has been underrated simply because in hindsight, Bizkit became synonymous with crap. The cover of Faith is spectacular (played with a different attitude opposed to the original, with the unmistakable style of Limp, it becomes anything but a hypothetical filler). I had never noticed the cap of the NYL before.

The Prince, "normal people" are culturally lobotomized; they wouldn't listen to you anyway because you disturb their pre-packaged mental frameworks. They live in illusion, the NWO would just be the most evident and scandalous aspect of the cultural lie in which the man of society lives. Vic, I would even be willing to give a chance for truth to aliens and the "grays," because if it is true that we are subjects of a parallel (and deceitful) culture to the "culture of truth," we must also question the existence of aliens. We have grown up with the belief that they do not exist, but since the exact opposite of what we believe "by tradition" seems to be true, I wouldn't make it that easy. I tend to not rule out any hypothesis from the start, as long as I am not faced with incontrovertible disprovals. What is certain is that (but one arrives at this alone, just look at the history of man), we are puppets in the hands of someone who pulls the strings. This happens at all social levels (in a classroom, at work, in the family, in one's peer group), and hierarchically we find this relationship of hypocrisy also in the higher echelons of world institutions. Who controls the controllers, in short.

No, but there are multiple versions of a hypothetical NWO, ranging from the existence of aliens to Bush being a chameleonic reptoid creature. Of course, we are manipulated by someone, but it’s one thing to say that there is a satanic/aliene Masonic conspiracy at the top of it all, and quite another to admit that there are organizations at the helm of the major corrupt global institutions operating behind the scenes for their own interests. It's not the same thing.

I tried to partially fill my DP gap by listening to Some Great Reward and Violator (in the past, I had only listened to Ultra and Playing the Angel), but they don’t tell me much... especially SGR seems, in some tracks, like an attempt to make industrial baroque (in Something to Do, however, the obstacle is overcome with a more essential approach, with percussions more suited to industrial itself). In Violator, there are a few interesting tracks (the dreamy "Waiting for the Night" above all), but in general, their songs seem to me an example of how to focus entirely on meticulous and winking arrangements... Gahan's singing style I can only take up to a certain point. I don’t know, I see it more as a display of style. Anyway, I somewhat agree with S4doll's thesis regarding the presence on the same album of good or decent tracks alongside filler tracks.

Daft85 how nice of you to come and spread your musical incompetence here too... what do you want, rookie? Haven't you ever listened to Three Dollar Bill Yall by the Bizkit? Bad, I recommend it, it's a respectable Crossover album. Oh, how careless of me, I’m talking to an incompetent. (And just so you know, I'm NOT saying this ironically).

Let’s say that you have no idea who Fugazi and Husker Du are, and to save face you label us all as "dimwits." Deep down in your little heart, however, you are perfectly aware that you’ve been cornered and you don’t know what else to say... and to think you were convinced you’d come to this review to play the role of the current intellectual-snob, trashing the Offspring and anyone who appreciated them even a little. Instead, we got you good, hehe, bye-bye. PS: I recommend a crash course on American underground alternative rock, you know how it is, there aren’t just Beck and Rem in America (as you foolishly think).

The Prince, take it easy in allowing yourself to be influenced by these Orwellian theories of the NWO; they are fascinating, but in some cases, they are just a waste of time.
