maiden1976, aside from the fact that the whole globe knows that the Dt are from Boston, even the review reiterates this... upon closer inspection, when mentioning the nationality of the group, the reviewer states the only concept that corresponds to reality. The rest of the review is chilling.

"So here there’s everything you can find in a Dream Theater album: Solos, technicalities, mind-blowing instrumental sections..." Apart from the fact that it's not a virtue to resemble the Boston band, what do they have to do with the Dt? I mean, you really want to bring them into the conversation at all costs, huh?

"The proposed genre is a very psychedelic progressive metal/rock." I actually missed this.

"Lux, yes yes, whatever you want, I've got sharp edges on my scrotum"----no no, jokes aside, you are childish Ajeje. Only someone who is not at peace with themselves could have come up with the idea of the sample on the cerebral/non-cerebral issue, throwing it into competition. Really, and you disappointed me, because at first you seemed like a laid-back guy, but then evidently daily boredom led you to spend time with the first person you could find and take it out on them. Because if you have even a little bit of awareness, you’ll realize that it was you who did everything to steer it toward competition. People reading the comments on this page certainly won’t think that I’m a big consumer of Jazz (and I’m not upset about it, given that I don’t derive much benefit from this genre), but some might think that you are struggling for personal reasons.

"no, I said that modern dance, whether taken as a record or as those tracks I mentioned, is definitely more cerebral, by far more than slightly all time"-----I feel better. And, allow me to emphasize, since you had the audacity to do so first with me, that this is an "objective bullshit". Period. And I confirm that you understood very little about Pere Ubu. "I'm tempted to put a very long sample on the review of third, and write 'defined by lux as a cerebral piece and a raspone'." >>>-----oh are you threatening me too? Besides being arrogant, are you also bitter? Don't worry, what I've said here I can repeat elsewhere. Just to be precise, I defined slightly all time raspone "at times". Make sure you write things correctly, mind you. Of course, you have an advantage since the comments will mostly come from users who particularly love progressive music and, even more so, a cornerstone like Third, and so they will probably come after me. Overall, your idea is a bit of a bullshit, with which I don't know how much you'll prove to be superior, as you've been trying to do for days.

Simple, which I define as Whisper Rock (studio track), like all Morphine, with which idea it seems you are absolutely not in agreement. And it seems to me that you put The Modern Dance on the same level of cerebralism as a slightly all time (and probably with some other track from Third). This is to say that regarding the reviews of Pere Ubu and Morphine you may have written whatever you liked, but in this particular review it seems you really didn’t understand the characteristics of the tracks/albums mentioned. So CALM DOWN before going to find alleged nonsense in others, let’s worry about what we say.

I couldn't care less about the live sax solo! It's obvious that I'm referring to the track(s) from the studio album. That comment of yours seemed to go against my opinion that Morphine are "rock at heart." You know how it is; it seemed to me that you thought "Whisper isn't rock, dear lux, it's definitely Jazz." I also quoted the comment about Pere Ubu, as you can clearly see.

Ajeje and let's go. I don't feel like naming those who SEEM TO ME (it's not a bad word) to predominantly comment on records of A CERTAIN TYPE OF ROCK, but this is the impression I've had.

"‘E whisper dei Morphine,’ how brave you are... but can't you see it's a piece that is PRETTILY rock, absolutely rock at heart (despite the band’s jazzy influences)?" Oh really? And on what deep knowledge of jazz do you base that claim? A saxophone playing an improvised solo live over a jazz-harmonically structured base is, if not to say definitely jazz, "rock at heart," now we're bringing out the heart too."-------- "Then if you don't like Sentimental Journey, why not Chinese Radiation, why not LAUGHING (I put it in uppercase myself). I mean, "I don't like jazz because it's cerebral, in fact I don't love slightly all time" and then you love Modern Dance?
