great review (aside from the preamble :D), an amazing album, incredible greens, and with a singer like that... how did he waste time with that idiot black!!! He's extraordinary
Pat Martino Impressions

Is it the poor Martino who lost, due to a brain aneurysm, the ability to play around the early '80s??? Because if it is, he really is great :)

The review is a bit what it is, neither infamy nor praise; the song is better, much better... one of the greatest prog masterpieces of the 90s.

Do you know what I think, Enry??? That you're a bit too good to be writing reviews on this site... here we do things a little more amateurishly, while you use grandiloquent terms that are definitely a bit out of context, and maybe that doesn’t appeal to everyone (although personally, I find your reviews particularly pleasant and professional).
Best, Emanuele

Can I say it??? Being an admirer of this great man, who unfortunately is no longer with us, I can't help but cry when I listen to this immense and unparalleled guitar work.
I reiterate (as I already mentioned in my review of Powers Of Ten), the pseudo-guitar heroes like Petrucci & co. simply cannot compare; here we are faced with pure genius, alongside which only Gambale and a very few others can compete.
All the songs here are fantastic, but the cover of Tokyo Blue (the original is by a moderately famous jazz musician named Najee) is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.
An IMMENSE and UNIQUE masterpiece.
A review perfectly suited to the album!

The last comment they posted to you is annoying... let me say it, you wrote a meticulously crafted review, precise, clear, very interesting, and particularly truthful.
The album deserves 4 stars, no more; after all, they have done far better things.
Bravo to you in the review and the Pain for playing :)

I completely agree with your lovely review... and then with that voice, how can one not give their all???

Alright... after quite some time with this album, I can finally comment on it and move past what I wrote previously.
I find it stunning, For To End Yet Again in particular, rich in pathos and with that very peculiar intro.
The beginning of Kinetic is fantastic, introduced by a truly unique drum work... great Hellhammer.
It's a shame that the drums now and then have sounds that aren't really "real," but you can definitely overlook that; after all, Hellhammer has always used all those effects.
One last thing... the singer has a splendid voice... original and particularly expressive!!!
Well done!

Damn beautifuuuul, you’ve said a sacred truth, but I think the young guy from Angra is doing fine too!
